POPS FLOW

Conditions d'utilisation

POPS FLOW

Terms of use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

POPS FLOW is a measurement instrument for adult athletes, with a built-in attention companion. It estimates attentional load, displays indicators together with their uncertainty, and suggests actions (breaks, protections, exercises). It is not a medical device.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the POPS FLOW application, published by Alain Simac, project lead of POPS (company being incorporated).

Downloading or using the application constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. What POPS FLOW is not

POPS FLOW is not a medical device. It makes no diagnosis, detects no medical condition, and replaces neither medical advice nor a coach. The indicators displayed are estimates: on iOS, the measurement relies on threshold crossings, which results in an uncertainty of about ± 12 points on the FLOW Score. This uncertainty is shown in the app, and days with insufficient coverage are flagged as “partial” rather than scored.

The messages and suggestions of the attention companion (in the app, the widget, the Lock Screen or by voice) are generated automatically from your indicators. They are suggestions, not prescriptions: they are neither medical advice nor professional guidance, and no protection is put in place without your consent.

You remain the sole judge of your training and health decisions.

3. Account

An account is optional: the application works without one. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep access to it secure. You can delete it at any time from the application (Me → My account → Delete my account).

4. Performance subscription

The application is free to download. The free plan gives access to today's FLOW Score, the attention companion and the widget, time slots and protections, 7 days of history, 3 sessions per week and one main goal.

The Performance subscription is offered at €14.99 per month or €129 per year (French prices including VAT, subject to change; the applicable price is the one shown in the application at the time of purchase, which may differ in your country).

  • Trial week: on your first subscription, if you are eligible, the subscription starts with 7 free days. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, it continues at the price you selected.
  • Promo codes: POPS may distribute App Store codes granting a discount or a free period of limited duration. The terms of each code (discount, duration, expiry date) are shown by Apple when you redeem it. A code is entered in the application (Me → My plan → I have a code) or in the App Store; it is personal, single-use and cannot be exchanged for cash. At the end of the discounted period, the subscription continues at the regular price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically on the same terms unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • You manage and cancel your subscription in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the application does not cancel the subscription.
  • Any unused portion of the trial week is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refund requests are handled by Apple, under its own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use POPS FLOW only to measure yourself, on your own device. Measuring another person, circumventing the application's protections or extracting its data by automated means is prohibited.

6. Intellectual property

The application, its brand, its content and its formulas remain the property of their publisher. The subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use.

7. Liability

POPS FLOW is provided “as is”. The measurement depends on system permissions and on limits imposed by iOS: we guarantee neither the completeness nor the continuity of the measurement. We cannot be held liable for any training, rest or competition decision based on the application's indicators.

8. Personal data

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

9. Governing law

French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent courts are those of the publisher's place of residence. Consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their own place of residence.
